Your Stag and Hen Questions, Answered

Hey folks! We get asked lots of questions about our Stag and Hen activities, so to make things super easy for you, we’ve put this super handy video together. Alternatively, you can read the answers to our most frequently asked questions below.

What are the minimum and maximum age requirements?

We say a minimum of 8 and as for our maximum, we are yet to find our limit so get in touch and we will see what we can do!

What do we need to wear?

For when it’s hot, we recommend wearing a sun hat and bringing sunscreen to protect yourself from the sunshine. For when it’s cold, your best bet is to layer up! Hats, gloves and fleece layers are ideal! Sandals and flip flops are not permitted on any activities, make sure your footwear is secure and you don’t mind them getting a little muddy. We also recommend bringing a change of clothes and a towel just in case.

Are we allowed to drink alcohol?

Unfortunately we do not allow you to consume alcohol on any of our activities due to health and safety reasons and those who arrive at our sessions under the influence will be turned away with no refund given.

Where do your activities take place?

All of our activities take place in the village of Beaulieu which can be found in The New Forest. We run multiple activity sites around the village and you’ll receive detailed directions to your activity site upon booking.

Is there free parking and how do we get to your sites?

All our sites have free parking but we advise car sharing where possible due to limited space. We do also have a 16 seater minibus available for hire should you need it. Our nearest train station is a 10-minute drive away in Brockenhurst where you can also grab a local cab.

Are you able to provide catering?

We use a local New Forest catering company to provide food for our groups and for an extra cost, they can deliver a buffet directly to site for you to enjoy either between or after your activity. If members of your team have any particular dietary requirements we are more than happy to cater to them as well. Or if you’d prefer, there are also various pubs located nearby.

Is there anywhere to stay nearby?

When it comes to accommodation, there are a variety of Stag and Hen friendly places to bed down for the night or the weekend nearby. We’ve included some of our favourites in our handy Stag & Hen Guide, which you can download HERE.

How does payment work?

When it comes to payment, we’ll work with you to recommend the most suitable activity package for you and we’ll then collect a 50% deposit to secure your event. We recommend you collect this in advance from all attendees before we take payment from you. We’ll then be in touch 2 weeks prior to your event to confirm numbers and any final details before collecting the remaining amount. All payments can be issued by invoice, should you prefer.

What if we wish to cancel or the weather is bad?

Our activities go ahead in almost all weathers and we’re experts at maximising the fun, even in the rain! If we are made aware that you wish to cancel your booking within 48 hours of your activity you will lose your payment and we will be unable to rebook you. If we are given 7-days notice, we can offer a full refund, credit or we can move your event to a different day. Between those times, 50% credit will be offered. We always cancel sessions and rebook or refund customers for no charge if we deem weather conditions to be unsafe.

And that’s it! If there’s anything else you need to know then just get in touch by phone (01590 612377) or email (info@newforestactivities.co.uk). We can’t wait for you to join us for an amazing stag or hen party soon.
